    Flight to Maldives

MEGA Global Air Service (Maldives) Private Ltd. will open chartered flights in Shenzhen in the middle of the year to attract travelers from the city, according to a tourism road show organized by www.tuniu.com, a tourism website, in the city.

The road show demonstrates tourism services in the Maldives including hotel accommodations, restaurants, transportation and shopping.

    Hill road renovation

YANTIAN District will initiate the renovation of the 6.1-km winding road on Wutong Mt that links Luohu and Yantian District in May.

Sightseeing pavilions, rain shelters, toilets and trash bins will be added along the road, which had been closed to traffic since the Shenzhen-Yantian No. 2 Passage opened in July 2008, making it a nice place for hiking, sightseeing and other outdoor activities.

    Blacklisted couriers

THIRTEEN employees working in courier services have been blacklisted and disqualified from the industry, according to a list released by the Shenzhen Courier Service Association. They were disqualified on suspicion of theft of company property and misuse of funds.
