Bike parking
SHENZHEN Metro Co. designated parking locations for app-based bikes at nine stations along Line 1 and Line 2 to regulate parking. Each of the preferred parking locations are 10 meters in length and 1.8 meters in width. The parking spaces at the nine stations, including Gangxia, Gaoxinyuan, Taoyuan and Window of the World, can accommodate 25 bikes each. Bike operators will send employees to the sites to maintain the bikes to improve their use efficiency. The city’s transport commission recently approved the establishment of 1,000 parking locations across the city to regulate parking. So far there are around 320,000 app-based bikes in the city.
