Free Sunday concerts

    Brazilian piano duo Fabio and Gisele Witkowski will play four-hand piano arrangements of various classical pieces free of charge at the Shenzhen Concert Hall on Sunday afternoon. Audience members can claim free tickets at szyyt.com.

    The New York Concert Review has described their performance as “showing marvelous rubato and tremendously clean playing, with a lovely sense of tone.”

    Time: 3 p.m., March 19

    Venue: Shenzhen Concert Hall, intersection of Hongli Road and Yitian Road, Futian District (福田区红荔路和益田路交汇处深圳音乐厅)

    Meanwhile, Spruce Quartet, comprising four string musicians from Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, will perform a free chamber music concert Sunday night at the Shenzhen Library. The program will include Stamitz’s “Duo No. 2 for Violin and Viola in D Minor,” Bach’s “Brandenburg Concerto” and Haydn’s “String Trio No. 2.” No need to sign up.

    Time: 7-8 p.m., March 19
