A 77-year-old woman, identified as Zheng, experiences stewardess service on a plane parked on the tarmac of Shenzhen International Airport on Friday. The wheelchair-bound woman, a Shenzhen native who lives alone in Bao’an District, has never taken a flight. She began to dream of having a closer look at a plane after making her maiden trip to the airport with the help of airport volunteers last March. Her wish was fulfilled Friday when the airport and Shenzhen Donghai Airlines Co. Ltd. arranged a special sightseeing trip for her by deploying a wheelchair lift to help her board a Boeing plane.Ye Zhou
