    ‘What They Had’

HILARY SWANK, Michael Shannon and Robert Forster are set to star in “What They Had,” a drama from writer-director Elizabeth Chomko.

Blythe Danner and Taissa Farmiga are also part of the film’s ensemble cast.

The story is centered on a woman (Swank) who must fly back to her hometown when her Alzheimer’s-stricken mother, played by Danner, wanders into a blizzard. The return home forces her to confront her past.

Chomko is an actress and playwright making her screen directorial debut with “What They Had.” Her script for the film was a recipient Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences’ Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting.

    ‘Shades of Blue’

NBC has renewed the Jennifer Lopez cop drama for a third season, it was announced Friday. Season three will consist of 10 episodes. The series, which also stars Ray Liotta, Drea de Matteo and Warren Kole, centers on a single mother and detective (Lopez) who is hiding several dark secrets. Lopez is also an executive producer on the series.

    Baby

FRENCH actress Marion Cotillard recently welcomed a daughter, her rep confirms. Cotillard, 41, and her actor/director beau Guillaume Canet, 43, are already parents to a 5-year-old son. In September, Cotillard revealed on Instagram that she and Canet were expecting their second child together.

The two starred together in 2003’s “Love Me If You Dare” and began dating in 2007. They recently worked alongside each other in the French comedy film “Rock n Roll,” where Cotillard and Canet play satirical versions of themselves.

    Newly wed

THOMAS SADOSKI revealed on Thursday night’s “Late Late Show” that he and actress Amanda Seyfried had already tied the knot the previous Sunday.

When host James Corden tried to congratulate Sadoski on his engagement, the actor called Seyfried “my wife” and held up his shiny new wedding band. The couple, who confirmed their engagement in September 2016, are expecting their first child together later this year.
