Official removed

    GONG MINGKE, the political commissar of the fishery department of Shenzhen Marine Surveillance Administration, has been removed from his post and expelled from the Party for serious disciplinary violations, Shenzhen’s Party disciplinary inspection commission said on its official website.

    Gong hid the truth when declaring his personal assets. He was also suspected of taking a huge amount of money in bribes when tackling illegal structures as deputy chief of the city’s land supervision detachment.

    Fuel surcharge

    THE fuel surcharge for red cabs in the city has been lowered by 1 yuan (US$0.15) to 1 yuan from Wednesday due to the drop in fuel prices.

    The price of No. 92 gasoline decreased from 6.55 yuan per liter to 6.48 yuan per liter March 14.

    Buses at train station

    GUANGMING opened three community bus routes and a rush-hour bus route to Guangmingcheng Station for train commuters to downtown Shenzhen.

    The new community buses, B958, B959, B960 and rush-hour bus route 135, brings the total number of buses to Guangingcheng Station to 11. The 11 bus routes cover six subdistricts in Guangming. Starting April 16, six new trains will operate between Guangmingcheng, Shenzhen North Railway Station and Futian Station during rush hours. Travelers can reach Shenzhen North Railway Station in 10 minutes and Futian Station in 20 minutes.
