Tribute to Osborne

    TURNER Classic Movies will continue memorializing Robert Osborne at the TCM Classic Film Festival in Los Angeles next month.

    Festival organizers announced Friday that the eighth annual film festival will be dedicated to the channel’s longtime host, who died on March 6 at age 84. Osborne’s TCM colleagues and friends will share stories about him during a panel discussion on the festival’s opening day, April 6. All festival screenings that day will be preceded by an Osborne tribute video. Osborne was the TCM Classic Film Festival’s first host.

    Ode to ex

    JOHN MAYER’S new single, “Still Feel Like Your Man,” is about ex-girlfriend Katy Perry. Lyrics for the upbeat, but wistful single include, “I still keep your shampoo in my shower in case you want to wash your hair.” In an interview with The New York Times, Mayer rhetorically asks “who else would I be thinking about” but Perry.

    Mayer adds that “it’s a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years.” Mayer has had other high-profile girlfriends over the years, including Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift.

    Legend’s bag

    AUTHORITIES have cuffed a man charged with stealing Grammy winner John Legend’s Louis Vuitton bag containing US$25,000 Cartier cufflinks from an airport luggage cart in New York.

    District Attorney Richard Brown says 63-year-old Agustin Hilario swiped the bag Thursday when it was momentarily left unattended on a luggage cart at Kennedy Airport. Brown says Hilario was identified through surveillance camera footage. He was arrested on charges including grand larceny and possession of stolen property. The bag was returned to Legend.

    Baby

    AMANDA SEYFRIED and Thomas Sadoski are parents. A rep for the actress confirmed that the couple welcomed their first child, a girl. The announcement of the birth of their daughter comes a week after Sadoski revealed that he and Seyfried wed during a secret ceremony. The new parents first met while working together on the off-Broadway show “The Way We Get By” in 2015. (SD-Agencies)
