Memorial service

    FAMILIES of organ donors and volunteers attended a memorial service at Shenzhen Jitian Cemetery on Sunday organized by Shenzhen Red Cross Society for the organ donors. By the end of March, 861 people donated corneas and 311 donated their bodies following their deaths. A total of 242 people donated multiple organs. The donations brought sight to 2,000 people and sustained the lives of 800 people.

    Houhai closing time

    RIDERS who miss the final train to Xinxiu on Line 2 at Houhai Station can take the Line 11 train to Futian as the operator has extended the closing time of Houhai Station to 12:28 a.m. to synchronize with the Line 11 service. Line 11, an express linking downtown with the airport, has run night trains since the end of December last year.
