A MAN surnamed Gao, 31, was detained for 10 days for negligence that was blamed for the fire at a construction site in Futian District on Monday.

    Gao was in charge at the construction site and an investigation showed that he hadn’t taken protective measures with the flammable extruded sheets that were piled up in the southwestern corner of the construction site. The sheets were what caught fire and created the heavy smoke.

    No one was injured in the incident. (Han Ximin)
