A police officer checks dangerous chemicals stored in a rented apartment in Futian District on Thursday. Acting on a tipoff from the landlord, police raided the apartment in Shatou and seized 870 kilograms of flammable and explosive chemicals. The landlord has reportedly terminated the leasing contract with the tenant, a 22-year old man surnamed Zhou. The case is being investigated.
