Thunderstorms

    SHENZHEN will be affected by cold air, thunderstorms and high winds tomorrow, the Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory said yesterday.

    Showers will hit the city Wednesday and Thursday.

    Car parking ban

    SHENZHEN Zhongshan Park Management has banned vehicles from parking in the square in front of the entrance to the south gate starting this month.

    Vehicles in the park are required to park in the nearby designated parking places, the park management said.

    Top-grade hospitals

    SHENZHEN Children’s Hospital has passed the appraisal to become the city’s 12th top-grade hospital.

    Meanwhile, Shenzhen No. 2 People’s Hospital, which was already a top-grade hospital, passed the review of its status yesterday. The hospital also brought in a medical team led by Professor Liu Yinglong, an expert in congenital heart disease, to strengthen its ultrasonography department.
