A HIGH school student in Arizona recreated the opening scene from the “La La Land” to ask the film’s lead actress Emma Stone to prom.

    Jacob Staudenmaier, 17, shared a video of the extravagant “promposal” on Twitter in hopes of attending his high school’s prom along side the Academy Award-winning actress.

    The teen sang his own rendition of “Another Day of Sun” which he titled “The Valley of the Sun” as he invited Stone to join the end of the year dance at Arcadia High School in Phoenix on April 29.

    Staudenmaier appealed to Stone by singing she would be returning to her home state of Arizona and claiming his looks have drawn comparison to her La La Land co-star Ryan Gosling while weaving through two lines of parked cars in the school’s parking lot.

    Staudenmaier ended the video with one final plea as he held a bouquet of flowers while his friends and classmates raised signs reading “Prom?” (SD-Agencies)
