Apply for jobs via Snapchat
    2017-04-12  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

     上Snapchat求职吧!

One of the world’s biggest fast-food chains is now using Snapchat for recruitment*.

McDonald’s Australia has teamed up with the app to modernize job application for aspiring* employees.

McDonald’s boasts more than 36,000 branches worldwide and its Australian branch has devised a special filter for the process.

This allows aspiring employees to try on the famous uniform and visualize themselves in the role. They will also be asked to film a 10-second Snapchat video as part of their application.

Once received, jobseekers will then be redirected back to the website’s careers section where they can download a traditional application form.

Shaun Ruming, chief operating officer of McDonald’s Australia, said while the clip wouldn’t replace the traditional hiring process, it would form part of the application.

“We’re trying to look for new and innovative ways to recruit crew people,” he added. Australia has 4 million daily Snapchat users, the overwhelming majority of whom are under 18 years old.(SD-Agencies)
