    Singapore filmmaker Boo Junfeng is flying the Singapore film flag proudly once again as he continues his winning streak.

    “Apprentice,” his highly acclaimed prison drama, won two major awards at the Fribourg International Film Festival in Switzerland on April 9.

    Seattle rockers Pearl Jam, the late rapper Tupac Shakur and 1970s hitmaking band Journey were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 7.

    A popular Chinese comedian and former judge on the “China’s Got Talent” television program is facing weapon and drug charges in Long Island in New York City.

    Attorney Hugh Mo declined to comment on the allegations after Zhou Libo’s case was adjourned to June 9.
