Hiker saved
A MAN who fell down a 50-meter cliff Tuesday evening was saved by rescuers in an overnight effort that lasted about seven hours.
The 23-year-old man went hiking alone Tuesday afternoon. On his return, he walked down a steep and winding path, which had become slippery in the light rain. The man accidentally fell off the cliff and rolled 50 meters into the forest before he was stopped by a tree. Police received his call for help at around 7 p.m., but only confirmed his location by around 10 p.m. as the man had told them the wrong location.
Easter rush

An online vote will be carried out soon and the 30 candidates’ information, stories and achievements will be shared on online media outlets and websites. The result of the online vote will be considered in the final review, and the top 10 finalists will be announced May 4, the Youth Day.
Metro project
SHENZHEN will start work on Phase IV of the Metro project this year, and a total of 18 Metro-related projects will be developed simultaneously. The present eight lines carry 4.5 million passengers a day. Work on five lines of Phase IV, including a spur line of Line 6, and lines 12, 13, 14 and 16 will start this year.
