A firefighter sprays water to dilute hydrochloric acid that spilled from an overturned cargo truck near a tunnel on the Fuyong Road section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway in Bao’an District yesterday morning. Hydrochloric acid spilled from more than 20 of the 180 barrels that dropped onto the road. It took firefighters one and a half hours to dilute the spilled acid.
