The Eighth Shenzhen International Percussion Culture Festival will be held in Futian District. Launched by Zhan Minghui, president of Shenzhen Percussion Association, the festival is a well-established event in China.     Opening ceremony & Ten Drum Art Percussion show

    The Ten Drum Art Percussion was formed in Taiwan. In 2001, the group performed their “Ten Thousand Drum” show, with 250 drummers performing together in Tainan. In 2002, the group performed in South Korea at the opening of the FIFA World Cup.

    Percussionists’ carnival

    Chinese and foreign percussionists and bands, including Xinghai Modern Music Grand Orchestra, Izumi Koga Trio, Ronnie Williams, TUYE Percussion Group and Liuyue & Makai, will perform.

    Masters’ concert

    International drummers Peter Erskine, Aaron Serfaty and Virgil Donati will collaborate for a show. Erskine is an American jazz drummer who was a member of the jazz fusion groups Weather Report and Steps Ahead.
