Violinist Wang Liang joined the Hong Kong Philharmonic in 2007. A graduate from Central Conservatory of Music, he was appointed as concertmaster in various orchestras.
Violinist Gui Li obtained her bachelor’s degree from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and became a Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Orchestral Fellow of the Hong Kong Philharmonic in 2006.
U.S. viola player Ethan Ford Heath has studied at the Interlochen Arts Academy, the Eastman School of Music, The Juilliard School, and the Cleveland Institute of Music. Since joining the Hong Kong Philharmonic in 1998, he was also invited to play in the Hong Kong Sinfonietta on their 2004 European Tour.
U.S. cellist Timothy Frank joined the Hong Kong Philharmonic in 1995. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center with the New York String Orchestra, and played in the National Repertory Orchestra of Colorado.
