    Comedy ‘Mr. Donkey’

    In order to pay for the donkey that brings them water, a countryside village registers it as a teacher at its local school. But when the charity group that funds the school visits for an inspection, the village has to find ways to hide their secret.

    Shenzhen Design Week

    Shenzhen Design Week has attracted over 200 designers and dozens of design institutes from a number of countries, including America, Britain, France, Canada, Italy and Spain, to showcase products.

    Light installations

    Renowned architects, interior designers and light designers will showcase their light installations.

    Tibetan treasures

    “Propitious Clouds Holding Up Mount Qomolangma — Selected Artworks of Tibetan Buddhism” features 130 exquisite objects from Tibet, all with great historical and religious significance.

    Dates: Until May 3

    Venue: Shenzhen Museum, Block A, Civic Center, Futian District (福田区市民中心A区深圳博物馆新馆)

    Metro: Line 2 or 4, Civic Center Station (市民中心站), Exit B

    

    Images of Chaoshan

    More than 600 rarely seen images and an hour-long video of life in Chaozhou and Shantou in the early 20th century are on display. Researchers believe the video was shot in 1921-1939.

    Dates: Until April 30
