On February 28, in order to listen to students’ suggestions, our school held a Principal Reception Day. Six students who were randomly selected from different grades went to Principal Zheng’s office to attend this activity.

To start it off, Zheng encouraged the students to share their feelings about our school and their expectations. The students gave their opinions freely. Lin Yingchun said that she has spent her three years of school happily. Her teachers are very responsible, and they are not only strict but also amiable.

Her classmates are like brothers and sisters, and she is very happy to be a member of this big family. She thanked her teachers and classmates very much, and she is very glad to have met them.

Zheng listened to the students’ suggestions carefully and shared his opinions.

He encouraged all the students to get along with their teachers and schoolmates and learn how to deal with their emotions and to face their studies and life with a positive attitude.

This activity has given our school leaders better knowledge on how to understand the students more effectivly.

The students’ suggestions will help our school to improve its progress. It also shows our school’s theory of “being people-oriented and developing harmoniously.”
