After the ship sank, I swam to the shore of a lonely island. I found my mobile phone and a pocket knife. I sat down and looked up at the sky. Night had come, and I wanted to go home. I told myself to remember the Golden Rules from Bear Grylls, which were: always be safe, find water and food. On this island, there were many trees, and I found one to use as a shelter. The next morning, when I woke up I was hungry and thirsty. I took out my phone, but I didn’t want to call anyone yet. For I only remembered my Dad’s number and he was certainly working at the moment. Then I walked along the shore, I found a bottle of water and drank some. After that, I went into the forest to find some food. I saw some apple trees and I climbed up the trees and used the pocket knife to cut the apples down. I was so hungry that I ate all the apples. When I went to the other side of the island, there was a little boat! I was so excited. I could use the boat to go home. So I sat on the boat, started sailing in the sea. On the way home, I saw my brother swimming in the sea. He was so tired and I helped him to climb on the boat. He said he had found a compass in the water. So we used the compass to find our way home together. |
