Cruise ship to sail to Okinawa
    2017-May-5  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE Voyager of the Seas of Royal Caribbean International (RCI) will launch five-night cruise voyages to Okinawa, Japan, from Shenzhen Prince Bay Cruise Homeport starting June 25.

On June 30, tourists can also experience a two-night weekend voyage between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

RCI boasts a fleet of the world’s largest ships. The 138,000-ton, 3,114-guest Voyager of the Seas was the world’s largest cruise ship when it entered service in November 1999. Tourists on the ship can enjoy facilities, such as an ice-skating rink, the Royal Promenade and a rock-climbing wall and other sports facilities, like a golf court, a swimming pool and a basketball court.

China is a growing market and the largest cruise market in Asia. The number of cruise tourists in China have maintained a growth of 40 percent a year. By 2035, the number of cruise tourists is expected to reach 10 million a year.

The Prince Bay area in Shekou will be developed into an international community that manages shipping, ports, tourism, shopping and entertainment.
