THE Guangdong Provincial Federation of Enterprises and the Guangdong Entrepreneur Association recently released a list of top 100 Guangdong enterprises ranked in terms of operation revenues in 2016.

Shenzhen, the largest economy in the province, was the biggest winner among all cities. More than 70 percent of the enterprises included in the list were based in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province.

The top 10 enterprises were Ping An, China Resources, China Southern Power Grid, Huawei, China Merchants Bank, Amer International Group, Guangzhou Automobile Group, Vanke, Midea Group and Evergrande Group. Six of the top 10 enterprises are in Shenzhen. (Zhang Qian)
