Finnish melodic death metal band and Australian band Orpheus Omega will perform Tuesday night at B10 Live.

    The sound and lyrical themes of Insomnium’s music portray darkness, sorrow, loss, pain and nature. Although the band is primarily a melodic death metal band, the tracks could be seen as reminiscent of doom metal and progressive metal. The band’s current lineup includes Niilo Sevanen (bass, vocals), Ville Friman (guitar, vocals), Markus Hirvonen (drums) and Markus Vanhala (guitar). The band has released seven albums and four singles.

    Orpheus Omega is also a melodic death metal band. The current lineup consists of Chris Themelco (guitar and vocals), Joao Goncalves (guitar), Nathan Mesiti (bass), Keswick Gallagher (keyboards) and Matt Themelco (drums). Their most recent album “Partum Vita Mortem” was released in 2015. To date, the band has released three studio albums and one EP.
