Dump truck hunt

THE city’s traffic police are hunting for a dump truck which fled from the scene Friday after intentionally hitting a vehicle belonging to law enforcement officers at the intersection of Liuxian Boulevard and Fulong Road in Nanshan District.

The truck was suspected of spilling dregs onto the road when law enforcement officers from Taoyuan Subdistrict attempted to intercept it for investigation. The truck changed lanes to avoid the law enforcement vehicle and then hit it to escape.

ARM settles down

ARM, the world leading supplier of microprocessor technology, will set up its China company in Shenzhen, according to an agreement signed in Beijing on Sunday.

The joint venture, relying on the technological support, training and technical standards of ARM, will develop world leading integrated circuit products capable of complicated calculations, graphics manipulation, artificial intelligence and safe connectivity.
