Soviet Union paintings

Shenzhen Art Museum is exhibiting oil paintings and prints depicting the Soviet Union’s October Revolution and the social construction. The exhibits are on loan from various domestic art museums in Shanghai, Wenzhou, Dongguan, Changshu, Dalian and Heilongjiang.

Prints exhibition

“Looking Through the East and the West” exhibition features 160 pieces of Shaanxi Fengxiang woodcut prints, Japanese Ukiyo-e woodcut prints and Italian copper prints, dating back to the 17th century.

Suzhou painter

Suzhou painter Chen Rudong is exhibiting his Jiangnan-themed ink paintings on paper, silk and fans. Jiangnan is a geographic area referring to the lands immediately to the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
