English corner

China and the United States are two large countries in the world. At the English corner, we will talk about the two countries’ relation, cooperation and differences in coping with wars and conflicts.

Taoist cultural relics

Precious Taoist cultural relics are on display at the Shenzhen Museum showing the rich and ancient history of Taoist culture. The exhibits are on loan from Hubei Provincial Museum and Wudang Museum in Central China’s Hubei Province.

‘Metamorphosis’

Artworks ranging from sculptures, videos to installations are on display at OCAT Shenzhen in memory of Huang Zhuan, renowned Chinese art historian, critic and curator. Initiated by Huang’s artist friends, the exhibition features contemporary artworks selected from past exhibitions curated by Huang, plus a few new works. Huang played a key role in the development of contemporary Chinese art.

Little Hakka

The Little Hakka International Picture Book Competition includes a picture book exhibition and a Hakka folk culture exhibition. More than 300 national and international award-winning picture books are on display at the Fenghuang Valley. Every Sunday afternoon this month, lectures and interactive workshops on picture books will be held.
