Vintage toy exhibition

A selection of 200 vintage toys from the 1960s are on display at the “Little Plaything” exhibition. The toys capture the craziness, the joy and the sheer fun of being a kid.

Dates: Until June 15

Video exhibition

The “In Search of Global Poetry: Videos From the Han Nefkens Collection” showcases 12 videos created by artists from different countries. The videos are on loan from Han Nefkens Foundation, a private nonprofit organization that supports contemporary creative projects.

Dates: Until July 9

Venue: He Xiangning Art Museum, 9013 Shennan Boulevard, Nanshan District (南山区深南大道9013号何香凝美术馆)

Creative products

Chinese popular magazine Reader is exhibiting its branded cultural creative products at the Guan Shanyue Art Museum. Wallets, phone shells, watches, flash disks, chopsticks and silk scarves with historical or modern patterns are unveiled at the exhibition. Visitors can also purchase some items there. The magazine collaborates with domestic designers and manufacturers to sell the products online.

Simon Denny’s works

“Simon Denny: Real Mass Entrepreneurship” is New Zealand artist Denny’s first solo exhibition in China. Through his investigation of Shenzhen’s ecosystem, the artist reflects on the high-tech industry’s role in reshaping the world’s economic horizons. The exhibition title echoes the timely call for “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” in China.

Dates: Until June 15
