Flower-themed exhibition at The MixC
    2017-05-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

If you don’t have a chance to visit the spectacular Chelsea Flower Show in England, you can still enjoy a flower-themed exhibition at The MixC. The exhibition will take place at several locations inside the shopping center.

Art in Bloom

Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami is exhibiting his flower-themed artworks. He has been noted for his use of color, incorporation of motifs from traditional and popular Japanese culture and flat/glossy surfaces. Chinese artists are also showcasing creative paintings decorated with preserved flowers.

Venues: 1/F in Phase I and near Bvlgari in Phase II (一期一楼中庭及二期宝格丽店铺旁)

Love Never Falls

Thousands of red artificial tulips are placed between the elevators near the D&G store to create a floral waterfall.

Venue: Near D&G, 1/F in Phase I (一期一楼D&G店铺旁)

Flower Tide

Thousands of fresh flowers are suspended from the ceiling to create a beautiful upside down garden. Incredibly, they look as if they are magically raining down on the stage.

Venue: In front of Din Tai Fung, 3/F in Phase I (一期三楼鼎泰丰门前)

Add: The MixC, 1881 Bao’an Road South, Luohu District (罗湖区宝安南路1881号万象城)
