Oil paintings and sculptures created by young artists Li Rongwei, Lyu Xiaozheng and Yu Linhan are being exhibited at 33 Space. “Concepts and values of life are interpreted in the exhibition. In a world filled with virtual senses and absurdity, artists try to save spirits through art. The three artists’ works are a metaphor on life. They temper themselves through suffering and pass through the difficult journey of life with hope,” said curator Li Yao. Founded in 2014, 33 Space is a local contemporary art space dedicated to discovering and promoting excellent artists and supporting artistic innovations. The space has exhibited sculptures, installations, performances, sound, video and new media works.
