Suzhou painter

Suzhou painter Chen Rudong is exhibiting his Jiangnan-themed ink paintings on paper, silk and fans. Jiangnan is a geographic area referring to the lands immediately to the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

Sangre de Muerdago

Spanish ballad band Sangre de Muerdago will perform a gig Wednesday. The music of Sangre de Muerdago has always been romantic and sorrowful, in which their unique expectations for quality are hidden. The voices of Asia and Pablo are steeped in the sounds of music, sketching out the images of ancient forests and deep oceans in their music, making them one of the most remarkable neo/forest folk bands around.

Simon Denny’s works

“Simon Denny: Real Mass Entrepreneurship” is New Zealand artist Denny’s first solo exhibition in China. Through his investigation of Shenzhen’s ecosystem, the artist reflects on the high-tech industry’s role in reshaping the world’s economic horizons. The exhibition title echoes the timely call for “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” in China.
