McDonald’s is making Minions’ fans wishes come true, with more than 30 restaurants across China as well as a new menu dedicated solely to the adorable yellow stars of Universal’s “Despicable Me” series, the Minions.

In Shenzhen, the Minions-themed McDonald’s outlet is in OCT Bay, where six areas were devoted to photoshoots with settings from “Despicable Me 3.” Photos can be printed on the spot and Minions dolls are given out for free with every payment of 30 yuan or more made with QQ Wallet.

In lieu of its traditional baked apple pies, the fast-food chain is serving up special-edition banana pies to honor the Minions’ favorite treat. The menu also includes Minion banana ice cream cones, spicy Minion nuggets and Minion hamburgers. Minion figurines are on offer at 12 yuan with any purchase at the outlets.(Liu Minxia)
