Boy’s father attacks doctor
    2017-July-5  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A POST shared widely online suggests the family of a young patient had attacked a doctor at Shenzhen Children’s Hospital simply because the doctor did not allow them to cut ahead of the line.

According to a doctor from the hospital, one of the doctors from the emergency room was beaten by a man who was taking a boy to the see a doctor Saturday.

Since the man and another two family members had been bitten by unknown bugs, they were anxious to have the boy examined by the doctor, so they attempted to cut ahead of the line at the hospital.

There were a lot of people waiting in the line to see a doctor because it was the weekend. The doctor told the child’s parents to calm down and wait to be seen because the boy’s injury was not very serious.

However, the parents still could not calm down and refused to line up. The two women, one who is believed to be a relative of the boy, even started to argue with the doctor, according to footage from a surveillance camera.

A few minutes later the man approached the doctor and grabbed his collar before trying to beat him in the head.

Eventually police from Lianhua Police Station stopped the fight and detained the man.
