BEACHGOERS are not allowed to bring their own beach parasols and tents into Dameisha Beach Park due to “safety concerns,” according to the management office of Dameisha Beach Park in Yantian District. The park management office said parasols and tents, which have unified designs and meet relevant safety standards, are available for rent in the park. The office denied that the park makes a profit by putting advertisements on the parasols and tents.
