Free concert by Russian musicians

Russian violinist Gleb Dontsov will collaborate with violinist Marianna Terteryan and student Zhang Wei for a free concert July 16 at Shenzhen Concert Hall. Free tickets can be claimed at szyyt.com.

The program will include Debussy’s “Violin Sonata in G Minor,” Milhaud’s “Sonata for Two Violins and Piano” and Gade’s “Jalousie.”

Dontsov graduated from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He came to Shenzhen in 1998 and landed a concertmaster job in Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra with the recommendation from conductor Zhang Guoyong, one of his classmates in Moscow and then conductor of Shenzhen Symphony. In 2007, Dontsov began teaching at Shenzhen Arts School.

Terteryan also graduated from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. She was a laureate of many international competitions and has been a member of many music festivals. She became a soloist of the Moscow State Philharmonic Orchestra in 1997 and has performed as a soloist with many famous orchestras.
