The “Chinese National Botanical Museum Project Promotion Seminar” and the “Chinese National Botanical Museum International Experts Consultation” was held at Shenzhen Wuzhou Guest House on July 25 by the Kunming Municipal Committee of the CPC and Kunming Municipal Government. With top international scientists, scholars and experts who gathered in Shenzhen for the XIX International Botanical Congress, the event aims to garner global attention, embody the wisdom of the people and make the “Chinese National Botanical Museum” a first-class and large-scale museum.

The Promotion Seminar invited more than 400 domestic and international botany and biology experts and scholars, including special guests of the XIX International Botanical Congress and Chinese Academy of Sciences academicians. Lian-yuan Chen, member of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan CPC Provincial Committee, Party chief of Kunming and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Dianzhong New Area, addressed the construction situation of Chinese National Botanical Museum. (Nan Nan)
