French jazz singer Pierre de Tregomain with his quartet will present a night of jazz songs at B10 Live on Sunday.

Tregomain gained fame in Europe with his albums “My Cold Song” (2010) and “Shelter” (2015). In 2008, he won the first prize of Crest Jazz Vocal contest in France and was selected by Jazz Magazine among the “most essential male singers” in 2012.

Tregomain played with his quartet at festivals and in jazz clubs throughout Europe and gained a solid reputation for his stage performances and improvisation. Radio France invited him to record a concert and German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung commented that he was “an artist with an extremely colorful voice.”

By exploring new musical horizons, such as Baroque countertenor and Sufi music, Tregomain has expanded his vocal technique and “deepened his inner connection between music and emotion,” he described.

His second album “Shelter” illustrates his quest for a universal language where jazz music appears as the meeting point of various influences such as pop, classical music and French chanson.

Tregomain has collaborated with various musicians, from electro to classical, including well-known mugham singer Gochag Askarov.
