A SUSPECTED drug dealer was caught by Nanshan police with tip-clues from local residents.

On the afternoon of July 29, police officers with Gaoxin Police Station in Nanshan District received calls from residents reporting that someone was involved in using and selling drugs in the neighborhood.

During an investigation, police found that the suspect, later identified as He, 20, was active in Bao’an District. The police managed to catch He in a car park near a hotel in Nantou. The drug suspect was caught red-handed with a package of drugs and several thousand yuan cash he had earned from drug deals.

He admitted to having trafficked drugs and was put under criminal detention by Nanshan police. (Zhang Qian)
