More scorching days ahead
    2017-August-9  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE highest temperature yesterday, 36.8 degrees Celsius, was recorded at Wutong Village in Luohu District, making August the hottest period in Shenzhen this year as usual. Temperatures will continue to be high today, but rains starting today are expected to cool down the weather.

According to the historical record, Shenzhen will experience a long and hot summer lasting around the average of 196 days. Autumn will not arrive until November.

Records show that on average there are 11 to 12 days a year in Shenzhen with temperatures higher than 33 degrees Celsius.
