The past five years haven’t been easy for Kesha. The American pop star suffered from depression while having to fight a legal battle with producer Dr. Luke and his record label. “Praying” is her first single in four years, not including her song with Zedd, and is off her new album “Rainbow.” This is a powerful ballad that starts out with just piano and slowly builds to quite the epic and super catchy climax in which Kesha shows us vocal strengths she did not share before.
