Satisfaction survey
RESULTS of a survey on the general public’s satisfaction with hospitals in Shenzhen were released last week. The survey collected opinions on 112 hospitals from 102,630 clinic patients and inpatients.
The list contains two sections based on how the data was collected. In the list of data gathered online from 77 hospitals, the Shenzhen Prevention and Treatment Center for Occupational Diseases, Shenzhen Sun Yat-sen Cardiovascular Hospital and Luohu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were ranked the top three public hospitals, while the Pingle Orthopedics Hospital in Pingshan, Aier Eye Hospital (Shenzhen) and Shenzhen OCT Hospital earned the first three places among private hospitals.
The traffic and parking situation, medical staff’s attitude and facilities were the top three reasons for dissatisfaction, according to the survey.
Free parking
A NEW parking fee payment system was put in place in Xixiang Subdistrict of Bao’an District over the weekend for a trial period. Drivers can park in the spots for free until the end of 2017.
A total of 1,157 slots were designated on 14 roads, covering the main areas in Xixiang. Starting from Jan. 1 next year, car owners will be fined for illegal parking if they don’t pay their parking fee via the Yitingche app.

MORE than 100 gymnasiums in Shenzhen will be free for residents through Sunday in a bid to mark the 9th National Fitness Day, which was Tuesday.
