SZ-Milan flight

THE first Shenzhen-Milan direct flight was launched Thursday by the Italian national airline Alitalia.

The flight enables passengers to travel between the two cities in 13 hours, with a Boeing B767 aircraft flying one round-trip each week. Nearly 40 international flights will be available from Shenzhen International Airport within the year.

Gambling at dormitory

A GROUP of security guards were reported for gambling at an industrial center in Longhua.

The gambling took place in a building, where the fifth and sixth floors were used as dormitories. During an undercover visit, reporters found that there were about a dozen men in a room, with five people sitting in chairs gambling and the rest standing around and watching. The gambling is said to have lasted for several months, and there were specific people who kept a lookout for police.
