SZ 2nd-most appealing to talents: report
    2017-August-23  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A REPORT released by liepin.com showed that the net inflow rate of professional talents in Shenzhen was 5.65 percent, the second-highest nationwide, according to sznews.com.

According to the report, Hangzhou had the highest net inflow rate of professional talents — 11.21 percent — in the first half of this year, meaning that it was most appealing to nonlocal professional talents. Hangzhou was followed by Shenzhen with a 5.65-percent net inflow rate and Chengdu that had a net inflow rate of 5.53 percent.

According to the report, Beijing had the highest threshold for nonlocal professional talents to settle down in the city, and its average wage was also the highest in the country.

The most sought-after job in the second quarter was HR manager, as each vacancy saw an average of 113.5 candidates in contention. Meanwhile, electronic communication was the least competitive industry, with an average of 46.24 applicants sending out applications for one position.

According to the report, the financial industry had the highest annual salary of 221,700 yuan (US$33,090) in the second quarter, followed by the Internet and real estate industries.

The net inflow rate of professional talents in the financial industry was 4.03 percent, the highest of all industries. It was followed by the Internet, pharmaceutical and real estate industries. The net inflow rates of talents in the other industries were negative, meaning that many professional talents had left those industries.
