This year, my summer holiday was wonderful. Our family spent a five-day holiday in Dubai. Even though the temperatures were high there, at noon over 46 degrees Celcius, midnight still around 39 degrees Celcius, we still had lots of fun. I have a lot to share from this trip.

My favorite part of this trip was our stay at Atlantis Hotel, The Palm, Dubai. This hotel is a majestic five-star luxury hotel in Dubai, and is located on the top of the Palm, a man-made island that has captured the world’s imagination with its magnificent scale and ingenuity. When we saw it from a distance, it looked like an opening gate with a big hole in the middle. Maybe that door separates the ocean and the land. As we got closer, it turned into a palace. We found out that this hotel is very big. And there is a yurt in that big hole.

Once we entered the hotel, there were many attractive things that made our eyes very busy. In the middle of the hotel, there was a tall building. It was made of colorful glass and shells, and looked like a torch. My brother and I were very excited, we never imagined we were going to stay in a fantastic hotel like this.

There are many sections at the Atlantis. We had a chance to get in close contact with a sea lion. At the sea lion section, we took pictures with one of them, and it hugged us and even gave us a kiss. The most interesting part of the hotel was the Waterpark. Mum and I went down a long slide with a life buoy and it was very exciting. Mum was screaming all the way. And in the kids area, my brother and I were climbing up and down the water slide; it was great fun.
