During the summer holiday I went to Malaysia and saw some animals. I went to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center. The orangutans there all lost their moms, who were likely killed by human. At the center I walked on a wooden bridge into the forest. There was an orangutan jumping and climbing on a tree! It was a young boy. It was picking branches from a tree and then put the branches into its mouth. It jumped and jumped, and it jumped to the small branches, and the smaller ones, and then the smallest one. At last it jumped onto the wooden bridge! It was not afraid of people. It walked like me. I was surprised by this. Finally it jumped into the forest again. The staff at the center told me that the orangutan’s name was Boogie Boy and it was 7 years old. I like Boogie Boy so much that I drew a picture for it. |
