Underground forex

BAO’AN police recently criminally detained a man who was illegally engaged in foreign currency exchange involving US$2 million.

The police’s anti-economic crime unit found a clue that a man surnamed Xie was suspected of engaging in illegal forex business as large amounts of money that were linked with overseas accounts often passed through his accounts.

Xie admitted that he had made 40,000 yuan (US$6,012) in profit by illegally engaging in forex business since 2016.
