A robot on display at the second Shenzhen International Aging Expo and the first Shenzhen International Service Robot Exhibition yesterday. The three-day event, which concluded yesterday, showcased intelligent robotic products that can be used to deliver meals and medicines to the elderly, “talk” to them, and provide guidance in cooking dishes. Each robot costs about 4,000 yuan (US$600). Some of the service robots can replace human caretaker services. Sun Yuchen
