Salesman injured by guards

    2017-August-29  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A SALESMAN was injured during a conflict between several salesmen and security guards from two real estate groups in Guangming New Area recently, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported.

According to the police, the dispute and physical conflict arose from competition for customers. The two parties belonged to different real estate groups. During the clash, the body of one of the salesmen was slightly scratched.

Mr. Shen, a manager of a human resources company in Shenzhen, told reporters that several staff at the company went to a sidewalk at Gongming Street to hand out leaflets for the promotion of COFCO Property Group’s real estate projects. However, because the location where they passed out the leaflets was near another real estate group’s property in the area, the security guards inside the building rushed out and hit the salesmen.

He added that the security guards might have thought they were there to compete for business, but the salesmen never entered their premises, and just walked around near the sidewalk.

In addition, an informed citizen told reporters that he found it difficult to understand why police officers asked the salesmen to take a “blood test.”

The police took six people related to the case back to the police station for further investigation and collected personal information in accordance with legal procedures. The police explained that what the citizen referred to as a “blood test” was just the collection of personal information from both sides.

The two sides are currently negotiating. (Zhang Yu)
