
Workers with Shenzhen Municipal Urban Management Administration clear damaged tree branches in Zhuhai City on Tuesday. Zhuhai was devastated Aug. 23 when Typhoon Hato landed on the city. At least two people died and power and water supply was cut in Zhuhai. A number of workers with Shenzhen’s urban management administration, electric engineers and other personnel were dispatched to Zhuhai to help their counterparts clean up debris and get the city back on track. Hato also brought strong gales and downpours to Shenzhen, resulting in the closure of schools and businesses, and the cancellation of flights and ferry services in the city. Li Zhong |
