Beach park reopens
DAMEISHA Beach Park resumed operations at 1 p.m. Tuesday. At present, the repair work in the park has been completed. The beaches and other infrastructure have been opened to the public.
Affected by typhoons Hato and Pakhar, the park experienced serious damage. The park’s management office issued a notice Aug. 24 and decided to close the park for a week.
Cross-border study
SHENZHEN General Station of Frontier Exit and Entry Inspection tailor-made an inspection system for children who cross the border to study in Hong Kong.
The system can check the identity of a child in four to five seconds and completely check a student bus in 10 minutes.
The system has greatly improved the border-crossing efficiency of border-crossing children whose number will reach around 30,000 at the beginning of the new semester.
To meet the challenge of increasing border-crossing students, the border administration has designated waiting areas, gathering areas and special lanes at checkpoints for border-crossing children. Inspection officers have been arranged to guide the children through the checks and implemented a drive-thru inspection mode.
Electronic invoice
STARTING Sept. 1, the Shenzhentong company will stop providing paper invoices; instead electronic invoices will be given for Shenzhentong top-ups.
The main channels for the electronic invoices include the official website and APP of the Shenzhentong company, Shenzhen Shimintong APP, and self-service card recharging machines.
